awesme Posted July 20, 2011 Share Hi guys, Hee haa, just received my unit. ok, no how do I fit the GSC10. I'm thinking it should go on the left, rear horizontal bar. quite forward so that the sensor can both reach the pedal for cadiance and far enough to pick up the magnet fitted to the spokes. Makes most sense to be on top of the bar. but my cables are there. Does anyone have a unit fitted to a Merida or likewise that can send me a picture of how you made it work? As I understand the unit it can give speed purely on the GPS unit, the magnet in spokes is extra. Thanks.
Tubeless Posted July 21, 2011 Share The unit must be quite forward as you said. You must play around. Yes the magnet is extra, but when fitted it is used for speed etc. GPS is secondary. Magnet is mainly needed if you cycle in areas where GPS reception is poor....... like the moon or your bedroomlike in forests.
