Big H* Posted July 30, 2011 Share I'm doing a wheelbuild for a 36hole 29er bike which I want to use for adventure touring.Anyone know what these hubs are like?DMR Revolver Rear Disc Hub We have a wheelset built on the DMR Revolver hubset and Sun Ringle Mammoth rims. We use this on our MTB Tandem. Virtually bombproof. Ordered it through www.chainreactioncycles.com in 2005 as a custom built wheelset. Not sure if there are SA agents. When I order "foreign" parts from Chain Reaction Cycles I normally order enough spares. I ordered spare axles and a spare freehub body. It is the six pawl freehub. You do or did get a nine pawl freehub. I think this would be advantageous. The freehub did start making noises but after servicing it is going well again. Sealed bearings can be purchased at your local bearing supplier. You can also get the front hub in a 20mm through axle that can be converted to use normal skewers.
