davetapson Posted August 1, 2011 Share Right, thanks to DiverNick I have a bike... Once upon a time it was a Peugeot Mirage. What I'm aiming for - we'll see how close I get. Polo
davetapson Posted August 1, 2011 Share This is the starting point - it has wheels, Campy someting or other. They actually are very pretty wheels (I'm new to roadie stuff - I know NOTHING about what's what) and not as low profile as in the image above. Once I'm done, I'll fit them and see how they look and decide whether to keep them or replace them as budget allows. Tuxstir Posted August 1, 2011 Share May i ask why you don't just get a track hub. Then can get a flip flop hub
javadude Posted August 1, 2011 Share If thats a cinelli stem you wont be able to use it with your bullhorns. Its a unique 26.4 diameter, unless you can get a shim from somewhere.
davetapson Posted August 1, 2011 Share May i ask why you don't just get a track hub. Then can get a flip flop hubIt's definitely a thought. I want to fit the wheels I have, and see how they look. The choice would be to replace the hub (what with new hub, spokes and wheel building this won't be too cheap) or just get CRC to build me a complete new wheel that looks like the wheel in the pic right at the top of the post. GTRacing Posted August 1, 2011 Share little peg/doofus thingy on rear triangleDon't take this one of, you need it to hold the chain when you flip the wheel.

javadude Posted August 1, 2011 Share Bullhorns from CRC For those you'll need a quill adapter and an oversize modern road stem.
