i was thinking more mountainbike party ... nothing that would cause you to not arrive at your dainfern-do in one piece :)

like maybe riding the black route at 8 and after a loop on the other side of the road, stop for coffee & chock muffin.

then by say 11 or shortly after, do the blue route with another loop on the other side of the tar, then stop for a chickenburger.

then the green route, possibly not do the other side of the road, and end with a huge orange rock shandy.

i dont' know if they'll still be open on 9/8 - i can try to find out tomorrow?

Rock shandy?

Green route=Heineken, Amstel or Windhoek.

45kms of Teak followed by green route would mean that sat evening party would be lopsided!

A quick blue route over the road as a warmup followed by coffee snd black route thereafter could be good.

Sunday we could ride orange and black, followed by a REAL green route and a designated driver to get me back to the palace in one piece

Such a pity this place is closing, a couple of loops of this was great training and had fair amount of climbing.

I was there last Saturday and half of the park was already closed off. After climbing the long and slippery climb next with the fence on the right we got to the top of the hill which had been fenced off, so you could not go down the other side and ride on the section next to tar road.

I can't ride this weekend otherwise I would be there.

"Why is it closing?"

Someone said the trail builder and the owner fell out.

Hopefully the reopen the Teak trails and then there will be the trail builders new trails next door.

We will then have two seperate trails right next to each other.
