nigelhicks Posted August 11, 2011 Share Hey Okes I have just built up a Mongoose Booter Romo for my chicks ballie. BUT i am not sure what colour i should have the wheels sprayed ... Ok it has a 2010 Booter Team parts kit - so has all the gold bling that the white 2010 booter came with - gold boxxer stickers ... gold seat clamp ... gold avid brake bits ... gold sram shifter ... gold grips ... with white funn bars. NOW ... as the rear rim is black and the front is white cus the white rear was trashed and had to be changed ... what colour should i have them both powder coated??? WHITE or GOLD .... I think the gold would look trick ... but thought id get your guys opinions
AndreZA Posted August 11, 2011 Share I like the white front and black rear. It goes with the fork and the swingarm. Otherwise all black.

Cycho Posted August 11, 2011 Share Hey Nige... Nice photoshopping I'd go white... gold can go very wrong if not done perfectly!

Grebel Posted August 11, 2011 Share I say Gold Edit: If they are currently annodised, get them bead blasted first to remove the anodising. I did a set of MX rims black and the powder coating bubbled first time. (Did the acid clean etc first). Had them snadblasted and they came out fine but a bit rough hence the beadblast suggestion. Ratty Posted August 11, 2011 Share All black with white spokes. Too much gold isn't nice IMO. I like the more suttle touches like it currently has.
