Black Spade build- Almost done

Hi all,

Got this awesome frame from Pornstar (Collin) and hoping to build up something nice...to budget of course :)

I am considering:

SRAM Force groupset (full)

Old saddle or possibly Specialized Toupe

Existing American Classic wheels

That just leaves the 'Cockpit'. What do you think of an integrated stem/bar, or is seperate stem and bar better? Also what about aero bars?

I would be able to spend about R1000 on a bar and would like as light as possible. So far looking at NESS Aero bar, or maybe Ritchey WCS bar...

Any other suggestions  (on other parts too)

All sounds good :)

What Am Classics you got?

I think an integrated stem/bar of course isn't great for adjustibiblity and is made in the most aerodynamic position.

That being said, if you don't like the setup you cant change it.

Agree'd, I have the white WCS Ritchey bars, unbelievable comfy and I love them! You can actually use the drops 80% of the time as they compact as well

No dude! KCNC breaks. Have had 2 and both were faulty. Went with the Ritchey WCS route to match the bars

Really a great set up  Like the bars, light and strong

doesn't have integrated cabling, which isn't a necessity, but it makes it look a lot nicer.

Which American Classic wheels do you have?

It doesn't look like those particular Eastons do.

Not sure about the Ritchey.

It is to feed the FD cable through. it protects the frame. Protects the little holes from cable rub.
