Training after Transbaviaans

I completed the TB over the weekend. After many hours of training my fitness levels are the best its ever been. Now I want to get stronger and faster. How should I go about my training also considering that I am now switching to road biking?

Intervals - short ones, long ones, aerobic, anaerobic.

Train with a power meter if not doing so already.

As with any goal in life you need a plan. Get a coach to assist or otherwise if you can get one of Joe Friel's training guides.

Take 10 days off. A ride like TB will make you strong, but slow. You will initially struggle with fast accellerations and responding to attacks on the road bike so work on more explosive training techniques.

My bike has gone on strike after taking such a beating on the TB so I am forced to rest!

Me too!
