Nitro Posted August 17, 2011 Share Hi Gents and Ladies, We have planned a ride in support of Door of Hope childrens mission, (a home that takes in abandoned babies), on the 10th September 2011. The ride will start from Thaba Trails, the new mountain bike trails being prepared by Wendell Bole. This is on Klipriver drive where the old brickyard used to be, a few hundred meters south of Panorama Center. We plan to start at 08H00am The ride will be a road ride but all types of bikes are welcome. The pace will be slow as this is a group support ride and we want to keep everyone together. We are asking that everyone who joins us bring an item from their needs list (this can be viewed on their website www.doorofhope.co.za) The ride will end at the Baby House in Glenvista which is only a few kilometers from the start, but the complete ride distance will be around 55km. There will be a bakkie at the start where all the 'Needs list items' ca be placed in and this bakkie will meet us at the Baby House at the end of the ride. The Helivac guys have offered their assistance with escorting the cyclists along the route and helping with the traffic where possible.Lets hope we can make this a huge success. Thanks all.
