MTB Tyres for 94.7 road race

Recommended Posts

I run tubeless rims (American Classics) 29ers on my MTB on which I will do the road race 94.7.

It wont be with my precious Racing Ralph's on the tar....

I basically need (cheap-ish) tires which need not last long -

Any suggestions?

Going to do my road race on stock humber tyres. Apparently they are 26x tyres, that is if I can trust the writing on the (side)wall :)

Is this to train for the race, on road, or varied application on many surfaces? It really depends on what you are planning to do with the tyres.

If you are only on the road, get normal Continental Gatorskins,700x 25c, and either put in some tubes or even run them tubeless.

Long lasting durable on and off road, Maxxis X mark.

I'll be doing about the same, so pm me if you need further info
