wynandvdmerwe Posted August 19, 2011 Share Hi Guys. Currently riding 26' Merida dualie, looking to upgrade to 29er in the form of a Lynskey titanium hardtail or a new Scott Spark Carbon. Any thoughts? I like the bling of the Lynskey and the fact that it weights almost nothing, but I am afraid of missing the dual susp on multi day events.... CAAD4 Posted August 19, 2011 Share The Lynskey is pure art. The Scott is a Scott.
Sharkie 2 Posted August 19, 2011 Share The Lynskey is pure art. The Scott is a Scott.Lynskey maybe pure art but Scott is proven engineering that works, Scott brings in the bike themselves now so back up wont be an issue

CAAD4 Posted August 19, 2011 Share Hey not doubting the Pro Bike back up. The demise of Raleigh and the imminent birth of a new cheapie proves they are serious to punt Scott as a premium brand, but A Lynskey Twisted Sister is in a different class. ti guy Posted August 19, 2011 Share I've been riding a Lynskey hardtail for the past year - just love it. There is just something about titanium ... And yes, if you want something different, hand-built, your choice of decals and finish, go for the Lynskey.
Nimby Posted August 19, 2011 Share Who are the Lysnkey agents in SA? One day when I'm big...
