Downhill Songs!

If you listen whilst you riding or before you set off, what songs stoke you up to ride that little bit faster and closer to the edge? Or just have you singing along whilst you fly down the trails??

For me right now its Sonic Syndicate-We Rule the Night and Trivium- Pull Harder on the Strings of My Martyr

A bit of an acquired hard rock taste

Always before...never during.

Pistol Grip Pump - Rage Against the Machine

Since we last Spoke - RJD2 (Opening track from Roam)

Shining Down - Lupe Fiasco (From NWD10)

Brick by Boring Brick - Paramore

Famous Last Words - MCR

Fell on Black Days - Soundgarden

...you get the picture.

But there's plenty of other stuff. Depends on my mood on the day. Sometimes its all chilled out. Gotta love the mountains.

Not really DH related, but the best "riding while listening" moment was blasting Muse - Knights of Cydonia through my earphones while riding my motorcycle over DuToit's Kloof past, just before sunset

"No-one's gonna take me aliiiiiiiiiive!!!!!!"

Years ago it was " totally committed" by the nude girls. These days any good hard rock or punk song. Billy talent is what i have been cranking out on my way to tokai on sunday mornings. Or some classic soundgarden.

All Metallica, most Guns & Roses, some Bon Jovi, only Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. If it's loud, it's in, if it's tame, then it's out.
