X-Man Posted September 2, 2011 Share Hi Hubbers I'd like to know whether anyone has tried this product and the results?? I've previously used GU Electrolyte drink but often felt weak with no positive results. I then switched to Cytomax but not really impressed. http://rehidratsport.co.za/ I know there's other threads on this topic but I'd like to find out more about the REHIDRAT drink. Thanks

TNT1 Posted September 2, 2011 Share Thanks.. How about using it while training or racing?? Tastes like ****, so I'd only use it for recovery. While on the bike, I think it'd make me puke. geecee

PYGA1 Posted September 2, 2011 Share As far as I know Reidrat is not designed to be used as an energy drink during a race, I use it for recovery on stage races after each day and it is great for that. I have a friend who used it as an energy drink during a long ride and "overdosed" on it, to many electrolytes, don't know to much about it though, maybe somebody else can elaborate. Thanks Sorri have not tried the sports version, but If it works anything like their electrolyte drink it will be very good.I used the electrolyte drink on stage 5 of the CE after a night of nausea and diarrhea, don’t think I would have finished the stage without it. KnobbyMech Posted September 2, 2011 Share Myself and some friends had some cramping issues when racing. Since using Rehidrate it has stopped. Period. I do not use it to replace the energy drink, just to prevent cramps. So one sachet before the race and one about halve way through. Magic stuff!!! PS: I do not know what the "Sport" version does differently, but it works too. Try the Blackberry, it tastes great!
Mackem Posted September 2, 2011 Share On stage/long races, every 3rd bottle I take rehidrate, a sachet in a 750ml bottle - you can barely taste it.
jannosmit Posted September 2, 2011 Share I wanna try it, where do I find it. Discem usually the cheapest, otherwise a pharmacy Werk soos 'n bom
gadget Posted September 2, 2011 Share I prefer these: Hammer fizzies I won't say they are better or worse, but cheaper and SLIGHTLY easier to use ("pill" vs sachet).
