Zipp discontinues Vuma Quad & Chrono cranks

Perhaps sales were poor? Looked like nice cranks imo, wonder if they were too expensive, or if it was the non-standard chainrings that put people off.

Check it out on their website:

"Please note Zipp has discontinued this item to focus on our core product lines of wheels, bars, stems and seatposts. We will continue to warranty and support any Zipp cranks."

I saw that too. I used those cranks on my imaginary dream bike, so its a pity I wont get a chance to buy them for real one day.

R10000 and your nephew got given one of them in the USA.

I can vouch though, they are one hell of a crankset and from powertap data there is about a 50W increase in peak sprinting power between the Vuma and the DA cranks. Put the Zipp SL HB and Zipp Stem on and you can add another 90W. Stiffness is incredible for the weight.
