bclark Posted November 9, 2011 Share So this has been weighing on my mind for quite sometime. This is my first Ironman. Will I be any less of an "Ironman", for only doing the 70.3. Brent

Brent You can always get the M dot tattoo and tell the people you did the Ironman, but inside you will know you only did 70.

bclark Posted November 9, 2011 Share get the legs ready for nice rolling hills! How many hours a week are you putting in at the moment ? I got a program.I haven't calculated the hours. But I pretty much do twice a day and six days a week. I use the words "pretty much", because its dependant on work and family commitments. But I am quite disciplined and steal in more time when I can. Garfield2010 Posted November 10, 2011 Share If you can choose would you take a calm sea and heavy wind or a Stormy sea with no wind? I know you cant choose was just wondering what to hope for. Then again as long as we dreaming take a calm sea with no wind and overcast conditions......as if that will ever happen. No wind!! But then again it is an IM so the harder the better............ The feeling of accomplishment is more when it was a tough day out and you get more value for money...

ADe Posted November 11, 2011 Share I am doing my first olympic distance triathlon tomorrow. Well, actually its only a brick session, but I am approaching it as if it is a race. This will give me a good idea of where I am in terms of my fitness for the BIG one in January. I am almost feeling nervous for tomorrow...
