LazyTrailRider Posted September 17, 2011 Share So here are the two machines (left one freshly completed) that we're heading to Tokai with shortly. Notice the light from the heavens above illuminating the M3. Rock on!

LazyTrailRider Posted September 17, 2011 Share Nice bikes dude! How was Tokai? Thanks! Tokai was awesome today, was there from 11h00-15h00. No wind, perfect temperature, just dry enough to not be majorly dusty. All in all, a perfect day. Was the M3's maiden voyage (my brother's bike, not mine), it's a whole lot of bike that takes a whole lot of getting used to. The wide bars freak me out, 780mm vs my 5.5's 645mm... Nice, very niceWhats the climb in Tokia like, distance and altitude to where you come downI used to ran alot in that area when i was younger but never to the top Unfortunately I don't have any technical stats tunariaan, have never been really into geo-tracking, HRM, power monitoring etc when riding. If I remember correctly it's about a 10km ride to Silvermine road at the top, but we generally just stick to tecnical singletrack riding in the forest lately. I actually haven't been to the top for a while...

Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted September 19, 2011 Share Ja, thats long, like riding a chopper! The BooBars on the DH sled are 780mm... They feel AWESOME. Trying to go back down to the 620mm on my XC bike... Let's just say that it's less than ideal.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted September 19, 2011 Share That's called a RIDE! Nope, that's called a willfully induced suffer-fest. I don't know why anybody would want to ride to the mast, then come back down and go up to Noordhoek peak. Craaaaazy!
