HowellingWulf Posted September 24, 2011 Share Need some wet wipes now, possibly a cold shower. Saw one at the Argus Expo. Yoh! Yoh! Yoh! Took one for a spin today. The rear wheel is reversible in that it has a fixed gear on the one side and a free hub on the other side. You can use it as a fixie or a single speed. Handlebar is very narrow though.... RacerX Posted September 24, 2011 Share Reckon it is a no from you then Sorry, but I just don't get the whole "fixie" scene, especially "bikes" like this that desecrate the once-holy ground of a classic manufacturer. I used to own a Pinarello Montello SLX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinarello) which I loved. I am abhorred by what has happened to Pina of late. First the stupid squiggly seat stays and fork and now this. I suppose it's what happens when a once-great company gets taken over by the marketing dept. In my opinion, if you really want a fixie, build it yourself from your parts bin - no self-respecting cyclist will want to be seen within shouting distance of you on that Pinarello ... erm, thing (there just is no word for it). Fair enough. Still smaak the loud colours though
