tell me more?

hes a hectic veggie as far as i have heard ... (i think thats right) ... but his diet is gluten free and a whole lot of other stuff. So its surprising that he would go for a sponsor like Red Bull as theres probably a TON of stuff in there that he cant have!

In "Giant things afoot": why is the "Giant" taking the rider from a wet DH course to a slopestyle course?

Aaron is Christian...

Aaron is Christian...

Has nothing to do with his belief in a veggie lifestyle/diet...

Has nothing to do with his belief in a veggie lifestyle/diet...

I agree, it has nothing to do with his choice of food, but he is praying and is Christian...

I agree, it has nothing to do with his choice of food, but he is praying and is Christian...

Which, once again, has nothing to do with his religion. The pose denotes pleading, begging even. Even if he were praying, who is to say which deity he is praying to?

What I get is "please please please on bended knee I ask you. I shall even go so far as to beg, and go against my beliefs of maintaining a strict gluten free vegetarian diet in order to get your sponsorship"

Nothing to do with religion.

Ok, if you say so... I believe differently

Which just goes to show how open to interpretation cartoons actually are...

I think if he were praying, and the religion aspect were meant to be included in the cartoon, that there would have been a Michaelangelo type interaction with him reaching out in to God in order to beseech him...

Any news on where the Athertons are going?

They've left Commencal and are rumored to be on GT next year.

On the local front Johan Potgieter (pottie) and Stephan Garlicke has been picked up by Canfield Brothers for next year. The plan is to once again do all the European events. This time with propper race support. The team is apparently based in Austria.

From what Pottie told me they will be getting full race support and all the bikes and kit that comes with that but no salaries. So any personal sponsors out there looking to invest in SA racing?
