XCer Posted October 9, 2011 Share Hi, My one year old Giant 29er Fox forks are blown after one year.I need to replace them and have found a pair of Fox F-Series 120 RL Fit 15QR with tapered steerer. My question is will these work on the bike and are they made for a 29er with disc brakes???
Eldron Posted October 9, 2011 Share Why not just send in the original fork fpr a service? Replacing the o-rings and seals will unblow it. Great fork - mine is smooth and fluid after a year of abuse!
Doggone Posted October 9, 2011 Share Fox shocks are made up of many parts each with a specific operational life cycle. It is unlikely or even impossible that all the parts are blown at the same time. I recently had my fork on my Anthem serviced after I saw some oil leaking. All seals replaced and shock fully operational again for R400. Much cheaper thank a new shock which will again end up needing servicing.
XCer Posted October 9, 2011 Share Looks like they are 26" forks - case closed!
