Active Monkey Posted October 18, 2011 Share Im looking at a Scott for my next MTB in the next month or 2. Currently I have a Silverback Saturn which I bought as a starter to see im I enjoy the sport and now wanting to go tubless and get new parts I would rather buy a better bike. Problem is I dont know scott models and classes I see they have Racing, Trail, All Mountain, Free Ride, Downhill, Dirt Presume I would look at the Racing, Trail, All Mountain ? Looking for a nice bike to do some trails, do some MTB tracks, ride to work and maybe some competitions a little later.
Tumbleweed Posted October 18, 2011 Share Trail would most probably suit the kinda riding you want to do best.

patches Posted October 18, 2011 Share Don't listen to Tumbleweed, he's trying to trick you! What you really want is a Scott Voltage FR10 http://fixiebike.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/scott-voltage-2011.jpg Just look at it glisten... look at it glisten! On a bike like that, people will watch in awe (even if you come stone last in a race) Plus it's guaranteed to make you ride like Curtis Robinson and the Coastal Crew ...but if you're not man enough... then I guess you could settle for a Scott Spark 60 ...a well priced (approx. 13k) full susser good for trails and racing http://products.scott-sports.com/217932/2000/217932.jpg

ETXEONDO Posted October 18, 2011 Share Take off them blinkers and don't be scared to look beyond the mass produced stuff. Like the SALSA Horsethief!

Save up until you can get a Zula. Having two other Morewoods you're too used to that special feeling to get onto something, er... less special. Can't say enough good things about the Zula. A XC bike for the DH'r.
