Eldron Posted October 19, 2011 Share http://www.cube.eu/en/29er/epo-29er/ It has a little electric motor in it - perfect for Spratacus to make the transition from road to mtb 20.5kg though - oof! I wonder how much the motor helps?

Iron Posted October 19, 2011 Share Ghost had a demo electric bike ( E bike ) at the 3 Towers this weekend past . Doing demos up and down the mountain while we were racing , not that wow up hills ( i dropped Mike on the first hill on day one "the Sting " ) its main aim is the man who cruizes around town ect . did about 60 odd km before needing a recharged

gtr1 Posted October 19, 2011 Share Rode with a guy on the Ghost demo bike a week ago. It was impressive, but it was mostly flat. Generates about 330 watts I believe, so not bad if you adda few hundred more :-)
Darryl O Posted October 19, 2011 Share I have taken the EPO -29er for a spin. That motor really does help. has 4 settings:HighLowOffRegenerate It won't be good on rough off road trails but brilliant for commutingin SA where you sometimes need to go onto pavements or some foot paths etc.(front shock and 29er wheels) It won a Eurobike award this year.
