Chum lee Posted October 23, 2011 Share Hi ek soek n nuwe mtb moet kies tussen die Spark 40 en die Merida 96 xt.Die Spark weeg 11,8kg en die Merida 12.1kg.Ek gaan die brieke verander na shimano xt.Nie een van die twee fietse het nou xt brieke op.Die Spark het n alloy frame en die Merida n carbon frame maar is nie vol carbon.Die prys verskil is +- R3500.00 meer vir die Merida.Die Scott het n Rock Shock RebaRL 120mm travel en Merida n Fox shock 100mm travel.Wat die groupsets betref is daar baie min verskil,beide die mtbs sal vol xt groupsets het na die upgrade. Chum lee Posted October 23, 2011 Share Die merida is n baie nice fiets ,maar kry n goeie deal op die scott.Hulle gaan dit tubeless maak en tyres vervang en handelbar+seatpost+stem.Dit behoort die scott nog n paar gram te spaar teenoor die merida.Die merida moet ek nog ekstra betaal vir tubeless ens.Ek dink beide fietse is baie nice net baie moeilik om te kies ,miskien bly dit tot n persoonlike keuse. Dit is my objektiewe mening Ek het ook gedink die scott dit is n baie nice bike en ek dink goeie waarde vir geld .Die merida het n carbon frame maar vir R3500.00 meer en die fiets weeg 300gr swaarder as die scott(alloy) en tubeless gaan seker nog +-R650.00 eksrta kos by die meridaBaie mense se gaan vir die merida dit het n fox shock ,maar die Rock shock Reba is net so goed my opinie. Guest Posted October 23, 2011 Share The merida is a pure race bikeScott was too until they moved towards the comfort side of thingsthe merida is a 100mm travel bikethe scott is 120mmthe meridas head angle is 71deg..bout the same as a road bike = very very sharp handlingthe scott is laid back at 69 deg, slacker more stable slower reacting steeringthe merida, theoretically behaves like a hardtail the scott is the more comfortable one. trail orientated. its your choice.both good bikes. as for the front suspension.the reba out performs the Foxthe person who disagrees wishes he had a Reba Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
