for mtb Gobi or Phenom 143

Selle didnt work too lekker for me. I wouldn't buy a new saddle based on anyone else's preference than your own, way too personal.

It is a very uncomfortable saddle. Somehow all the bikes I bought had those on. I have 3 in my spares cupboard.

Hi,

What's your alltime favorite saddle?

The Rolls, I have been riding them and the identical Selle San Marco predecessors since the early 1970's .

I use them on the MTB and road.

I have tried others but the backside is too well panel beaten to the rolls shape.

Specialised Romin for road and Specialised Phenom for MTB. Both are "cut away' in the middle so as to relieve pressure on the nerve endings and to ensure consistent blood flow through the crown jewel areas.

I was on Arione's on all my bikes and switched them all over to specialised. Result, no numbness after being in saddle for longer periods, improved comfort. There are also many other l/t benefits of using cutaway saddles.

Hi,

What's your alltime favorite saddle?

I'm trying to research a new saddle purchase and I've not really got any credible info. Most shops want to sell me a Fizik Arione - But I see so many 2nd hand Arione's up for sale.

Let's see what you all have to say?

What's your alltime favorite saddle (pls add whether you are OffRoad or a Roadie?)

Get your sit bones measured and buy a saddle that is the right width for your ass.

One man's favourite saddle is anothe man's torture device.

Some shops have test saddles (I have seen Fizik, San Marco and Specialized).

Its an expensive trial and error process otherwise.

Romin 143 on both MTB and Road seems to work for me.

Have had Gobi on MTB, was very comfy

Selle Italia Gel SLR on MTB and Road which was ok for anything under 2 hours.
