trigon bikes

Man - there is a new "made in taiwan but we also make bikes for the big boys" bike coming out in SA every week.

The short answer is - it's random. People can rabbit on about which grade of carbon they use and how they lay them up and what the QC is like but until they've been around the block for a few years you, me and the rest of hubland have zero idea about quality, reliability and after sales service.

Most appealing thing about the fs desing is that it seems to be a copy of the FSR system (horst link) used by Spez.

Trigon does actually make frames for the big boys. Their stuff isn't "that" cheap either, as in $500 for crappy frames you get on eBay.

Do you know which "big boys" they make for?

Trigon sells their bikes online in the states. A mate of mine has a roadbike and he is happy with it and it is lekker stiff and not a noodle. here is a review of his bike.

They are goodlooking and good value.
