Changing Crank Arms

I am about to get a new bike and the crank length that it is coming with is 170mm and I have always ridden with 172.5mm cranks.

 

So my question is that it is on a Giant Road bike with the Powercore BB. Is it possible to just change the actual crank arms and leave the BB in place?

 

IF anyone has done this or has any suggestions please let me know. As a new Crank with BB is over R2000.
