Bought it with my savings and help from my dad about 24 years ago. Cost R 7000 then. A good investment.

Very nice! But I would never wear it in public in Gauteng. The Rolex gang she is watching...

Ssshhhh! Years ago in Yeoville, I was checking the watches a Chinese trader was selling on the pavement and as i wanted to pick up a watch and check it out, he saw my Rolex, held my wrist and told me that his fakes were better than my one! Thought it best to leave it at that.

My watches:

Festina (black strap) and a Swatch Irony (Brown Strap)

 

The Festina is a great looking watch, but it keeps terrible time!

VERY nice.

 

Just one observation though..the dial is upside-down. :o

 

Keep your eye on the road and not on your watch...! That is for the benefit of the co-driver.
