Event Name: Babbas Lodge MTB And Trailrun

Franco Sport are offering a number of exciting events over the next few weeks.


The first event is the Babbas Eco Run, held on 27 November,at the Babbas Lodge venue.

Distances are 1km, 5km and 17km.

Costs are R30, R40 and R50 respectively.

The 17km event will take place inside the reserve, while the shorter distances will occur at the venue and adjacent farms.


The second event is the Run of the Roses, being held at Ludwig Roses, just off the N1 on 04 December.

Distances are 1km, 5km and 10km.

Costs are R30, R70 and R90, which include a breakfast for the 5 and 10km pre-entrants.

Line entries will not receive the breakfast, and will cost R30, R40 and R50.

All pre-entrants will receive a free T-shirt and the breakfast.

All finishers will receive a unique medal.


On 11 December cyclists can look forward to the monthly Babbas Lodge MTB series.

All pre-enties will receive a free T-shirt, and the first 50 will receive a nice goodybag as well.

Distances are the customary 35km and 70km routes,costing R130 and R150-00.

For the fun riders there will be a 12km course,costing R80-00, and a 1km course for the kiddies, which costs R60-00.

Line entries will be available on the day, although late entrants will not receive the free T-shirt.

Riders that do not have a CSA licence can obtain a day licence at R35-00.


The final event in the Babbas Lodge series will take place on 16 December.

Once again all pre-entrants will receive a free T-shirt.

The first 50 entrants will also receive a bumper packed goodybag.

Line entries will be available on the day.

The usual distances of 35km, 70km and a 12km event for fun-riders will be available.

Costs are R130, R150, R80 and R60 for the 1km kiddies race.

CSA day licences will be available at R35-00.


End the year on a high note, with participation in any of these exciting events.
