Event Name: Babbas Lodge Big 5 +1 MTB Series
When: 8 January 2012
Where: Babbas Lodge, Gauteng
Category: MTB

The first event of the year is taking place on 08/01/2012.

New sections of route have been laid out, making it a new and exciting challenge.

Get rid of the festive season cobwebs, saddle up and hit the dirt!!

 

Online entries are available HERE

Line entries will also be available on the day.

Riders without a valid CSA licence can obtain a day licence either through the online entry, or on the day.

Day licences for 2012 remain unchanged at R35-00.

 

Distances are the usual:

70 km @ R 150-00

35 km @ R 130-00

12 km @ R 70-00

1 km @ R 50-00 (for the kiddies)

About the new route there is now a single track of about 1km and the riders will go into the koppies two times. Hope to see you Sunday

I enjoyed the race and had some fun battles ... had to pull away from two youngsters enjoying some headwind protection behind me for the last few kms. Route was great.

Expect fast race . Profile is flat so no point in posting it ! I imagine there will be plenty sand due to lack of any recent rains .
