the silverback is better on spec.... but which one grabs you more, which one feels better when you sit on it?? you will want to get up in the early hours and ride a bike you love, not one that you were told is the best.

The Silverback is a better buy for your buck, and offer better components, however the GT trumps with brand. I will pick the Silverback.
