Steaming wise? Improvement on ability to create microfoam?

I cut my teeth on the Oscar so when I upgraded I saw a great improvement in my milk texture

Nah i meant in a sense of making multiple cups with the machine losing any oomph!

As for milk texture i actually had the Oscar perfect in terms of consistency of milk texture.

Hi, does anyone know where I can find a replacement glass jar for a Hario Skerton Plus manual coffee grinder?

Try Checkers. They have a knock off home brand version of the Hario for about R200 and it come with 2 jars if I recall correctly

Looking for some recommendations on an Espresso machine. Budget 20-25k.

Had a look at the Rancilio PID and the Lelit Mara, the Lelit looks much better on paper, but willing to consider other options.

Maybe look at a Gaggia Classic. I've got a 1976 and 1988 Baby Gaggia. And they both still work perfectly fine-including the MDF grinders. Recently got a Gaggia Anima Bean to Cup and it's just not the same.

I did order from them during the week and they state it's 58, but it's more a 61mm at the top for the double shot one.

UPDATE: I took a chance and ordered this little jar from TakeAlot and it fits perfectly! Not bad for a R43 fix. I am happy to be grinding again.

I love fixes like this.

Gooi another jar in for backup on your next takealot order and you'll be sorted for that next oops as well.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! Cheers!

We bought a house so I am finally able to plumb in my machine as we have designed our own kitchen.

The first picture; what it looks like below the sink, second picture; the line supplied with the machine.

Anyone in the know of what else is needed? I assume I can run an adaptor so there is two lines off the cold tap. I will run an in-line water filter.

You should be able to get a T-adapter that fits in between the stopcock and the line to the cold tap. Should be 15mm/ 1/2 inch. Just check the line supplied with the machine is the same width

Any quick thoughts on the Jura E6 by the connoisseurs here - able to pick one up for a good price, and looking for a combination of good consistent coffee and convenience. Thanks.
