Puxi Posted September 15, 2012 Share I bought a sram red groupset from someone with the following specs. 170mm Crank12-25 CassetteBB normal(Not BB30) This is what arrived175mm Crank11-28 CassettePress fit MTB BB He accepts he made a mess up and is will to refund me R500-00 for the mess and send him the BB and cassette back. Far to Little? Then he says strip it all and send it back. Problem is as the Crank is incorrect I took it and put my bike and my crank 172.5 on my wifes bike (as groupset was bought for her) What should i do? Cippo Posted September 15, 2012 Share You should get what you paid for as advertised.
Puxi Posted September 15, 2012 Share Agree, I said I will send the cassette and BB back and want R635 in return. You think that is far?
Cippo Posted September 15, 2012 Share So where is the proper cassette and BB? Surely he should send that to you.
Puxi Posted September 15, 2012 Share He says he put the discription down incorrectly!
Cippo Posted September 15, 2012 Share Im sorry but thats a big difference. Honestly I would cancel the whole deal. I would rather lose a sale than make a bad sale.
Puxi Posted September 15, 2012 Share OK sorted it out with them now.
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted September 15, 2012 Share Agree with Cippo here. Before you sell anything, make sure it is what you say! Not hard to get those details right... I mean, extermal bb vs press fit, 170 vs 175, 12-25 vs 11-28... Damn, this guy must be a bit of a muppet.
