Matt Posted November 16, 2012 Share The Absa Cape Epic attracts many of the best mountain bikers in the world. We’re expecting around 15 past and current world champions at the 2013 event, and it’s tipped to be the most competitive event yet. But long before the riders even congregate at race registration at the V&A Waterfront in March next year, there will be some serious competition, in fact, it’s already begun – with the GPS-based exercising social network Strava. tygerbergmtb Posted November 16, 2012 Share Hi there Folks - please note that the Meerendal section does not go up the blue route singletrack as it did in the 2012 prologue, but turns left onto the jeep track at the top of Stairway to Heaven (and continues along the jeep track all the way to the top - ouch!) We will mark the route either this weekend or early next week for those of you who wish to do the Meerendal Prologue portion of the challenge.Safe Riding :-) megdobson
