I had a pretty cool ride, got home at 1 on the morning, up again at 4.

3rd time on the bike in a couple of months and the legs just left me at 80km.

still managed a 2:36, pretty happy with that all things considered clap.gif

First time Burger. Left a great party early to get my son a good Argus seeding.

We started in C and did 2h40, which isn't bad for a 14 year old in his first long road race.

It's a scary race in places though, on the way through Pneil(?), crossing those brick sections, someone braked hard in front of us. The whole bunch just skidded and some guy behind me hit a bike or the pavement. Went down hard judging by the sound.

Didnt know you were a hubber!? I chirped your boy just before Helz started properly, when he asked if that was the climb. You also told him not to bother about okes going up hell for leather, as you'll catch them as soon as the start to tire. Saw you at the finish again, but did not engage you.

Well done on your ride, awesome!!

I think conditions were great after all the concern about wind and rain. I certainly deserved better weather after the conditions at last weeks DC.

Good to have seen you on the road, Wannabe!

Race was really nice, improved my time of last year by almost 15 minutes. Was strong all the way, no tired legs or cramps.

Well done.

You put some hard work in for that result, man.

You must've been the kid in the Maties kit? really well ridden - impressive to stay out in front for those long turns, towing an old timer like me ;) builds character!
