Bikes for Enduro... The restart

They've always done the force so I can't see why they won't now. Not like specialized which only brings in the enduro on special order (what I've heard). And Merida and a whole class of others who don't sent anything over 120mm to our shores

They better!! We need to start converting more race snakes to see the light! Johova style. Go knock on people's doors and $&it!!

Well Sean from Tread is over in Utah riding them ... maybe that indicates they will come here?

Would like to see that been ridden in a muddy track.

Flowta, I think Hayley is referring to the new shock placement. Huge potential to pack mud since it is in line with the tyre.. oversight or opportunity for mudguard makers..

Speed stuff boot is your friend

Yes and no, this year, they changed the name of the Sanction to the Force LE (people confused that there is a difference between the Force and the Sanction)

This New Force looks like it is based on the Sanction/Force LE.

My Sanction was actually some ex-Demos, Omnico never actually brought them in

Oh hectic! I was thinking about the sanction.....

But the force was brought in quite well. ???? As there are quite a few of them around. (Mine included)

A lot of the bike shop guys say that there just isn't enough interest as all the saffas are brainwashed by 50k XC bikes.

I hope with enduro gaining popularity we will see the lbs stocking more 140mm plussers!!

What are the local options in 140+? (Lbs only)

Stumpjumper

Scott genius

Gt force

Reign

Anything else?

Yip, the only reason for me not jumping at buying an Evil Undead. I think it must be a pain in the mud with that cluttered 'BB area' design.

NomadC

With the bronson making an entrance with a bang and not to mention the heckler, it seems like most forgot about the nomad...

Not forgotten, I looked at a 2013 model on the weekend and I must say that it is starting to look a bit dated, even more so with the new models coming out. Sure there is some tube shaping to bring weight down, but it is now competing against a Solo that has even less weight than the Superlight!

Incremental updates, i.e. the rear bolt thru is not enough to hold it's own against the new offering from SC.. Green Enve wheels screams gimmick!

Good luck finding 140mm plus bikes in shops in SA. This is the marathon nation. My Reign took 4 months to arrive. You could always get a PYGA 120 650. Saw a built up one at Revo cycles in CT yesterday - XX1 build. R50k. Thats why I bought a Reign at half that...would imagine the SC's come in at big bucks too.

Yes they will be - but i have already had word from the top that you will need to cash in your retirement annuity to buy one!

Oh and you can get a medium - or medium - or medium!

with the Force and sensor - is it just me or does it look like GT just took the Mongoose "Freedrive" System (which is a variant of the I Drive anyway) and tweek it a bit???

The BB is a bit higher up on the rocker arm and there is a rocker pivot at the seatstay/chainstay junction .. thats all
