braailegend Posted May 22, 2013 Share I dont exactly get knee pads, only time i fell on my knees was while running... While cycling my only places i get hit is shins, back of knee, shoulders, hands, chest and head.. But never on my knees. Guess it has to do with the natural way you fall?? Have broke/dislocated knee, but that was due to foot stayin behind while me and the bike carried on.

Got the same ones as well - perfect fit for me & comfy - no complaints so far. DR ◣◢

Got a set of these and they are by far the most comfy knee pads I've worn to date. I'm yet to fall on them so I'm not sure how protective they really are or how hard wearing they'll be. I really want the elbow pads like this too but no where seems to have them in a S/M to fit my skinny arms. So, if anyone is interested, I have a set of 661 Kyle Straights going for a case of Black Label (bottles, not cans!) They are in decent (used) condition & I'll give 'em a wash prior to collection. Compared them last night with a set of 661s. The 661 offers a bit more protection above the kneecap and the cup is bigger on the 661 but the Leatt is a little bit more comfortable. Have you tried Full Throttle Cresta? Spoke to them over the weekend and they had elbow pads in stock.

DR ◣◢ Posted May 23, 2013 Share Tried these on and all I can say is "Robocop much?" Im sure they will be ok for downhill but complete overkill for Enduro http://www.leatt-brace.com/images/uploads/product_uploads/IMG_9200_1.jpg Sanderis

Dont think you can locally, came across them yesterday while doing some arb googling and took a liking to the black one but in white, similar to the white full face search sweet protection

niterider Posted May 23, 2013 Share I've just gotten a special order in with Dragons for a pair of these (they haven't imported any up until now). If anyone else if looking for a pair, I'd suggest you get your LBS to call Dragons. http://www.mavic.com/sites/default/files/products/zoom/326518.jpg DR ◣◢ and Skott5

I returned my Leatt knee and elbow guards as I wasn't quite happy with the fit. The knee guards bulges out and it doesn't hug my knees when I'm standing and the elbow guards move slightly around when my arm shakes about while descending.I had purchased the S/M size though. I must say that 3df foam is great

DR ◣◢ Posted May 23, 2013 Share How much coverage does the shin guard part cover? Way too bulky to be practical. Good coverage though.
