Anybody checked out the new Netflix show, Gypsy?

I started watching the trailer, and thought, "Well, this looks promising" and then, for some stupid reason, they added (presumably as a selling point) "From the director of 50 Shades Of Grey" and I was like, "Well, this is probably going to be crap"

I am a bit of a Naomi Watts fan and she is generally quite selective about what she does...so i will watch it with that in mind....that...or she needs a bit of extra cash...although she is currently in Twin Peaks at the moment

I got bored and decided to watch the Veronica Mars TV series to see why it got such high ratings. Now, for some reason, I am addicted...

Who else is doing Twin Peaks with me. I caught up during my holiday and apart from Lynch's freaky E08, it has lived up to all expectations. It started a bit bizarre, but has settled in quite nicely. Kyle Mchlachlan is quite superb as basically three different persona's

Has anybody here watched Patriot?

It's streamable from Amazon Prime, watched the pilot last night and it seems good so far.

Is this the 2017 version or the 1990s one?

Is the 90's any good? Would like to start and watch them all in sequence.

It's been on my radar, but thought it was a reboot not a continuation.

No. It was suggested to me (here on Bike Hub, iirc) after I watched Band of Brothers and praised it, but I couldn't get into it. It felt too similar and since BoB is quite hard and dramatic to watch I felt I needed a break.

I think if you can stick it out a few episodes

Well I am enjoying it.. so also person taste etc.. (although enjoy is perhaps not the right word..damn it's harsh..there is nothing enjoyable about what those young lads went through)

Also I have a WWI and WWII expert next to me always giving me more insight
