Just returned from France after doing Haute Route Alps 7 day stage race. Geneva to Nice.22000 m . 19 cols. stunned at the number of youngsters(14-18) training and at the level they ride. I really think local pro's are fooling themselves . Most of them are far from pro level.

I think Kulhavy had a great ride for the season he had thus far!

In the replays it showed Phil Buys had a huge faceplant in the rockgardens.

What a great ride by Nino! Great job from Fumic as well as for Hermida. What a race!

Can't stop thinking about where Burry would've ended...

We can only imagine if Burry had still been with us.

We surely missed Burry. He would have been up there in his backyard

World Champion Nino Schurter (Switzerland) reigned supreme in the battle of the titans that took place at Cascades MTB Park late on Sunday afternoon as mouth-watering action of the elite men’s cross country event of the UCI MTB & Trials World Championships unfolded in front of thousands of vocal and enthusiastic supporters that flooded the Pietermaritzburg facility.

Thought of the Stunda Thunda today...yeah.

So did Jose, who gestured to the heavens as he crossed the line.

Getting back to Nino...I think he should have his title taken away from him. I clearly saw him throw down a gel satchet on the course...

Kidding! He rode an awesome race!

I think they have the talent, but the development of that talent is critical: for that they HAVE to be where the standard is highest. That is Europe.

Having said that, watching on RebBull TV yesterday, the event is awesome. Kudos!!!

Nino Schurter: WOW!!!
