Bianchi Posted October 18, 2013 Share I take it they didn't know? I hope they didn't know - because no one should be stupid enough to go riding where there's currently a bikejacking hotspot. It was only two riders.Helpmytrap warned the guys not to ride there. It wasn't a group of riders this evening that were shot at it was just me and another guy from Parkview Night Riders (PNR). The place where we were almost bike-jacked was going down Garsfontein road from Mooikloof a few hundred metres before Woodlands shopping centre. As we approached these two guys the one guy tried to pull something out his pocket and it looked like they were going to attack us, we sped up and the next thing we heard three shots fire at us. Bianchi Posted October 21, 2013 Share Hey guys So we had a meeting with the police this morning and brought up the topic of the hijacking and attempted hijackings with Captain Steenkamp. He said he will station a vehicle in the area on Thursday nights from 18:00. Now I personally was hoping to see one a bit more often, but we only have a limited number of vehicles for the Garsfontein precinct. I have lined up some Regional Commanders from Metro Police that were requested by the Chief of Tshwane Metro Police.
