It's all together again at km 11 except for Marcel Kittel who crashed and Arthur Vichot who got dropped.

Nope. Just waving the Sagan flag a bit ☺

No problem with that

I am waving a Voeckler flag, but I just can't simulate his tongue wagging.

The words hardly rolled of my tongue

Surely he must be up for one who has ridden and completed the most tours. Love this guy. Always sooo composed.

And the rest of the peleton is clean as clean as a sheet washed with OMO.

Its keeps your whites whiter!

After 24km Feillu, Visconti, Durasek, Oss, De Marchi, Kadri & Huzarski have 30" on Bakelants & Molard and 1'40" on peloton

This is Jensie's 17th straight Tour - a record held jointly with Hincapie.

Hincapie finished all but his first, whereas below is Jensie's record

In light of Hincapie's d'oh(ping) history - his record was removed from the Tour's records.

Joop Zoetemelk holds the record (16) for the most tours started and completed.

I got a feeling that this will be the best TDF for the Frogs in decades. Poor Frenchies, lord knows they've had a barren spell of things for many, many moons. But things seems to be on the up for them: Bryan Coquard has emerged as a new star in the sprints (joining the lighties Arnaud Démare and Nacer Bouhanni as faces of the future)... Blel Kadri won stage 8 (and took the KOM jersey for a little while)... Tony Gallopin is the new darling of France with his stage 11 win and holder of maillot jaune for a day... And now we can look forward to the two white jersey billy goats, Pinot and Bardet, ready to make a real name for themselves in the terrain they love the most. There's a spot on the final podium for at least one of them. Maybe both? The French are falling all over themselves with excitement about their lads at the moment.

Wonder what's worse, frenchies battling to perform at Le Tour or the poms not winning wimbledon for ~80 years? Things is, they load the peleton with local riders with all the wildcard teams, just like the indians put their players in the IPL. Yet they still can't even get someone on the podium, they should be the dominating country at this level.
