Decisions decisions, help me find an all mountain ride

So, it's time to look at a new ride. I'm currently selling my Nukeproof Snap and Argyle fork (if you're keen PM me ;) )and looking for a 140mm+ all mountainy ride. I've found a fork, 160mm Fox Talas, and have all but decided on an NS Soda Air, but thought I would put it to the people for some opinion. My budget is max 17,000 for a frame, has to be 26 and minimum 140mm travel.

And go...

NS Soda is a kickass bike, bro. Love the fact that it's so customizable.

Other options are the Sukuma (a BRILL bike) and my personal fave at the moment. Commencal Meta is also a good option. What about a Reign? Would suit the TALAS 160 perfectly. As would the Reign X. But then that's going onto the upper end of the travel scales at 170mm rear.

Was going to suggest the Turner 5 spot that Crow has for sale, but just remembered that it's for grown-ups only :P (it's a bit big for you)

Hmmm... Decisions.

If it were me, doing the AM thing all over again and buying a replacement for the Reign X, it'd have to be a Sukuma. That's my pick. But it'd be a custom colour...

That's basically what I was thinking too, the Sukuma. But finding one is another story entirely..... Custom, like maybe British racing green or something? ;)

Giant Reign... yes, but no. I don't know why, but it doesn't do anything for me. The NS is just way more attractive.

Well, there you go... Reign X - shorter than the new Trance, with more cushioning! And you're about the same height as Omega here!

OH BTW - Sukuma new price off the shelf is I think 17k. So contact Morewood directly if you're keen...

What size is that common and really simplistic Reign you simply can't find anyone to buy or even swap for a box of smarties ..... (I might be a little intersted. ... might)

That is a tempting prospect, but I couldn't do a straight swap... I'm particularly attached to my XT brakes and I feel like the bike as a whole is worth more than 7k, not to say that we can't make a deal though.

HAHAHA! That's more like the Duane I know... Any excuse to get a new bit of CNC'd aluminium porn... That fresh-from-the-UK smell. Machine oil aftertaste (you have to lick them, of course) and the sexy-as-fook levers.

Awesome.
