Hi,I am looking for advice on winter training. As the winters are cold and wet and because of working ouers I can't always go out for a ride I have decided to buy some form of indoors exersize machine.I have looked at exersize bikes an spinning bikes and I'm not sure what the diferences are and what would suit as a substatute for my normal mtb riding. Can anybody please educate me?

Most use indoor trainers (IDTs)

It uses your own bike and is better suited to simulate being out on the road.

With IDTs there is a massive range of choice.

Had a look at the indoor trainers, was wondering how hard they are to set up.Me and my wife will be sharing what ever piece of equipment I buy.I ride a 26er and she rides a 29er and she will have to set it up by herself at times.

Super easy set up man... Idt is the way to go, but gets boring and is hard to stay motivated when that's all you work on...

Good luck!

Be sure to check out the Classifieds here as well.

Like home gym equipment, there's lots going around for sale.
