Dinkymoo Posted August 6, 2014 Share Has anyone tried the Buzz Rack Beetle bike carrier? Sportsmanswarehouse sell these at R1300. It can hold 3 bikes. Should I rather go for the Thule968 Freeway. It's R700 more. Does the brand name justify the price? Edited August 6, 2014 by Dinkymoo

Piston ZA Posted August 6, 2014 Share Only bought mine last week and only used once, but so far very happy with it. Dinkymoo
Featherbrew Posted August 6, 2014 Share Had one for about a year. Works well although you will get minor scratches on your car if there's any dust or dirt under the clamps. I found it a mission to mount two bikes on it, nevermind the origami skills required for 3. Changed it for a rack on which the bike stands rather than hangs which is a far better solution IMHO. Racks like the Thule Euroway are more expensive but much less effort. Thule now also makes a stander rack that works without a towbar. shaper Posted August 6, 2014 Share Had one for about 2 years, no complaints, works well. Have only ever had 2 bikes on it, never tried with 3 Dinkymoo
SaKiwi Posted August 6, 2014 Share If you don't have a tow bar, go for the Buzz Rack Pilot, well worth the extra money. Dinkymoo
