Why apologise on this forum? That just stinks. Go and find him and make peace. And while you are at it get control of your temper.

[insert shaking head emoticon]

Some days I am not proud to be a member of this forum :whistling:

Some days while reading stuff here i shake my head and roll my eyes so much people in the office must think i'm on drugs

@Copperhead. Why attack a guy for wanting to find the guy to make an apology? Next time, I suggest reading the post properly before responding in such an obnoxious way.

In fact, if you have nothing of value to add (i.e. the guy's whereabouts), don't bother responding at all.

Fair comment copperhead, this is not an apology, it is part of my attempt to find him as you suggest. I ride that road every day at the same time and I've never seen him before so I'm trying multiple avenues to find him. I waited at the intersection for an hour this morning and he didn't come through, going to try again this evening.

As for the temper comment, also fair, thanks for your contribution.

Seems like you were judged and found wanting by the hub police again.

There are a lot of behavior experts on this MTB forum - ones that will be willing to counsel you and provide you with guidance on all aspects outside of your post. I had them guide me yesterday a little bit....

Hope you find your guy - I think this was a genuine post and an attempt to right a wrong. All of us are capable of some pretty stupid things when angry - its wired in to us.

Hope you find your man and don't get involved in defending yourself to the behavior police that have appeared here.

All this MTBing has made them in to a super race that allows them to judge and comment on others behavior and set up rules for you to engage here.

I do deserve the judgement, I was a douche, that's why I'm not doing any defending here, something about black pots and kettles...

Any other suggestions on how to try find the guy? I don't think he rides much at all as I've never seen him on the road.

Cue a post from copperhead in 5 minutes time to apologise to David Greyling for behaving like a tool on the internet...

The guy was trying to correct his wrongs and was openly admitting to his fault - that's a bloody rare condition these days

No one deserves to judge you or anyone else - I might have an opinion about your behaviour but have no right to judge you.

Maybe you're not the douche you're making yourself out to be. Maybe this cyclist also pissed someone else off and they got rid of him?

Seems that even if you have good intentions you must have thick skin(flame suite) to post on this forum.

Trolls will be trolls, and haters will be haters.

I applaud the op for taking the initiative to locate the e-bike rider... I hope you find him
