Acerunner Posted August 14, 2018 Share OP, you're 2 heavy for Crests, its gonna be > 20kg adding camel backs ect ect, No problems with the MK3's they just had a bad batch, warranty process is seamless. Edited August 14, 2018 by Acerunner
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 14, 2018 Share Are... Fragile or bulletproof?Have also had failures, of the same type. Probably down to spoke tensions being too high for the rim, but that's also not evident just yet. Fact is they're also failing. TWT is backing them all up though. TWT is backing them all up though. that warranty means sweet f all when you have to incur the full cost of rebuilding the wheel each time (likely more than cost of the actual rim) The also couldnt be bothered to match the decals to the other rim each so you end up with mismatched wheels (im pedantic with appearance, others probably wouldnt care) i gave my arch mk3 rims away and went elsewhere Edited August 15, 2018 by GavS
DylanP Posted August 16, 2018 Share Posted this reply on the wrong topic, so just reposting here: Thanks for the feedback. There is a set of used Flows with Hope Hubs available at R3900. Considering that. Else the Arch Mk3's with Pro 4 hubs are R6995 at CWC. Just concerned bout this issue with cracks. Either way - I could sell the crest set Riding really lightly at the moment, no issues with the crests yet - major concern is hitting a rock downhill
