I enjoy Sam Harris's Making Sense podcast and for comic relief I listen to Bill Burr's Monday Morning podcast. Also like Joe Rogan, but at the pace that he turns them out I tend to be selective about which ones I listen to.

NEWS24 being rather sneaky here...adding information that is already in the first 2 episodes with some drips of inside info.

OVVIOUS they know big fertilizer is about the hit the airconditioning.

next episode drops thursday, probably the biggest podcast episode in SA history (or, as I expect if Jimmy remains anonymous and the final 4th episode is the clanger).

I'm totally captivated by this podcast. He's done a real good job with it.

The real sad thing is that there are similar examples of the teacher being referenced throughout schools in South Africa

I've been binging on 'How I Built This, by Guy Raz' for the last few months now.  Listened to all of them.  I really enjoy them, plus they fit into my daily solo cycling schedule quite nicely  :P

Its all about the people who started various companies, their stories about how and why they got to where they did, mistakes they've made along the way and essentially how everything went down.  He's had some really big companies on there (Dyson, Jet Blue, Shopify, Belkin, Spotify, SquareSpace, Compaq, Canva, etc.  Plus loads that I've never heard of.
It's not at all 'businessy' though and always feels very personable and relate-able.  Very often makes the gears in my head turn.  And some of the stories are fascinating!

I really enjoy it and highly recommend it.

BOOM!

it dropped yesterday.

https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/revealed-here-is-the-teacher-turned-journalist-who-allegedly-sexually-assaulted-boys-for-years-20191121

Was quite hectic driving home, and well i wasnt expecting the big reveal just yet.

I'm not entirely sure I like the way the case has been presented, the way it jumps around and the amount of filler information that is brought in that doesn't really add much when there is so much dirt clearly waiting. That might be due to it being a legal minefield, and will reserve judgement till next week.

having been laughing out loud in traffic since I took up the suggestion and started listening to "My Dad wrote a Porno"

only around 4 episodes in. Hope it stays fresh though, has the potential to get very repetitive.

It does get repetitive... But I had a good laugh for the first season... There's a village here in Ireland called the horse and jockey and there's a big sign for it on the main road to Dublin.. always makes me laugh when I go past it

Mike Rowe's "The way I heard it" is excellent. Try to work out who or what he is talking about before the end. All between 5&7 min long.

For those that have an interest in the markets,

Liking "strictly business"

Has various podcasts, "five o'clock shadow" is good

Found recently and really enjoy the various participants and inputs.

Love it for the car, no more crap adverts.
