My domestic worker chucks my giant el cheapos into the washing machine. I was annoyed at first but too lazy to hand wash them. They seem to be holding out fine. I'm just grateful I can find my stuff when I need it..took a while for her to put cycling stuff together but she's learning. Although the other night i opened the bathroom cabinet and my chain lube was in there

I look into future of this here fred and all I see is south..... ;)

Bwahahaha. On a semi related note. Rock and roll blue works afrikkingmazingly well on locks. Makes them feel like new. As for gloves. I keep em on while I rinse my bike after a ride then take em off and hang to dry. Seems to work fine.

That's almost as lazy as the time I took my wheels off and took them into the shower with me.

It sucks to not have a garden. For the record - I don't recommend it - spent more time cleaning the shower afterwards

Always wash mine on 30* cotton cycle in the machine. Never had a problem with synthetic material gloves. Leather is a different story....

Material gloves no problem. But how do you clean the leather ones?

Spray with muck off and then wash in the shower... followed by a little hand soap - seems to work fine.

Then just hang them on the line to dry.

wash them in a basin with soap of choice...

Here is the thing though, DONT let them dry in the sun...that will cause cracking...let them dry in the shade
