I have done both ways and the himeville to notties is much easier...the big climb id's right in the beginning and the rest of the climbs are easy...even the big climb.. although long (i don't remember exactly..but about 15km?)..you just get into a rhythm and go

It's a good race and I wouldn't miss it, not as easy as it sounds, being non technical and all. I agree that the Himeville to Notties is easier as lots of tar at the end, so you can keep your speed up when you are tired.

 

I remember the feed stations aren't as well packed as Sani, take some food for the ride.
