T-Bob Posted June 3, 2015 Share Looks like CX is heading back to the world of sus' with Cannondale releasing this little beauty. I remember the old Rockshox attempts for Paris Roubaix and they fell away pretty quickly in favour of 3 layers of bar tape. This how ever looks a load of fun. http://cdn.velonews.competitor.com/files/2015/06/19-659x440.jpg full article over @ Velonews here. T-Bob Posted June 3, 2015 Share Seems like it's a good way for Cannondale to get rid of those 26'r lefties they had gathering dust. http://cdn.velonews.competitor.com/files/2015/06/61-659x440.jpg rock and gummibear

T-Bob Posted June 3, 2015 Share how much travel you reckon? 60-80mm? Apparently they down tuned it to between 35 and 45mm. Question though, isn't the leftie a pain in the arse to change a wheel quickly at the best of times? Not going to be so hot in the frantic world of CX racing... that and currently sus' forks aren't allowed in UCI events. Well, neither were disc brakes. rock Posted June 3, 2015 Share 100mm... says on the side if you look carefully that's just old parts from a 26er fork. This is still proto. Captain Fastbastard Mayhem
rock Posted June 3, 2015 Share from the article While the exact travel of the fork is unknown, we expect it to be very minimal, only smoothing out small vibrations in the race course Captain Fastbastard Mayhem

Ryanpmb Posted June 3, 2015 Share Dunno man... Think my grave would be one of the ones mentioned by rock. I appreciate the 'pushing the boundaries' and 'trying new things' thought process but it's not for me. I lefty rigid carbon fork would get more of my attention...
