nellie Posted December 2, 2015 Share Here is a point of reality to consider too. 100 customers go into a shop. 98 come out with what they want or have ordered it, satisfied. TheHub never hears of this. 2 come out without what they wanted, unstafisfied. TheHub hears of it.Part of the 98%...extremely happy with my purchase from Northcliff this morning...good bunch of people Edited December 2, 2015 by nellie Cat2forLife and Patchelicious
Christian van Zyl Posted December 2, 2015 Share You can usually find common parts online for less than your LBS but the courier cost can erode the saving unless you buy a number of items at a time. International online stores can seem attractive but dont forget courier, clearing fees, VAT and duty on certain items. Also remember, if something goes wrong with your purchase you have a long way to go to get a refund/swop out. I run an online cycling store and I know how many popular brands end up breaking under warrantee. Also, 1 out of every 4 pairs of shoes we sell end up being swopped out. I say buy local.
