I believe that the gates have been closed through the valley on the Rhenosterspruit ride up in Joburg.

 

Anyone able to give more info? Is the route still rideable?

 

If they are closed, any ideas what the story is there?

I also heard it, went out there on Sunday and it is still open. Saw couple other groups too. Nothing has changed

The one after Piet Skiet? Gate is closed but the fence is down on the side. 

 

Or are you talking about the one at the top of the climb near the R512 near the mosaic hut?

 

Did a loop there on  Wednesday and was all open.

Hi, we tried the route today and at the entrance of Piet Skiet new fence is up with yellow no entry signs.  Anyone know what's the deal?  Any alternatives?
