Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted April 26, 2016 Share .BTW MJ - glad you're seeing the humour in the whole thing, with your best purchase of the year. And at least you now know what it should look like! MJ the Expat

Edge_Design Posted April 26, 2016 Share The whole debate rests around proving the facts rather than stating what you think as fact. After 3 to 4 months I think it is fair to say the shop no longer has a responsibility for proving they shipped the parts - it's the buyers responsibility to prove they didn't. He can not do that (there is no way to do it unless he happens to have a photo of his nicely rebuilt bike with it's new wheels that was taken in January) and therefore you can't reasonably expect the shop to take responsibility for it. it's nothing personal against anyone, but how long after a purchase can you reasonably expect them to be responsible for what was/wasn't in the box? I'd be interested to see a pic of the fork with the wheel (minus the adapter) fitted to it - I still can't get my head around how the wheel would have still worked properly once, let alone for 3 months.
